What excites me

I'm interested in how human relationships are reflected in language, and how language shapes relationships. My work aims to understand how confrontational conversation works, namely what role interlocutors must play in order to carry it out.

To what extent is interpersonal conflict in fact cooperative?

What is interpretation influenced by, apart from what is said?

Are beliefs fickle? Under what circumstances do they change?

In my Bachelor's, through installation and video pieces, I played with language and its context to explore different ways of creating meaninglessness.

In my Master's, I looked at how context restriction gives rise to relevance and meaning.

In my PhD, I am investigating the contextual conditions for confrontational conversation.
